YOUNG PEOPLE
Start Club
Start Club workshops enable 6 to 11 year olds to meet artists and engage with Grundy's current exhibition to create their own inspired works of art. Workshops are on selected Saturdays from 10.30am to 12 noon.
Start Plus
Start Plus workshops and projects enable 12 to 16 year olds to engage with artists and explore different aspects of art, through workshop led activity. Please contact the Education Officer for more information on these workshops.

Arts Award
The Arts Award is a national qualification, which supports young people to develop as artists and arts leaders. Young people aged between 11-25 can achieve an Arts Award at levels Bronze, Silver and Gold.
Grundy Art Gallery is a registered Arts Award centre and Kerry Hunt, Grundy Education Officer is the registered Arts Award Advisor. Please contact Grundy for more information on how to get involved in the Bronze Summer Scheme or if you are already doing an Arts Award how we can help.
Grundy is also registered as an Arts Award Welcome venue, offering support to groups already doing their Arts Award through guided visits to exhibitions and creative workshops. The Education Officer is also available for email or phone interviews for the practice and pathways section of the Silver.

Activity Guides
Make sure you pick up your free activity guide when you visit Grundy. The guide is a tool to help families engage with the exhibitions, have fun answering questions, explore and draw together.
